I use them for my home office. I was so impressed with the first set that I use for my office that I purchased another for my wife’s office. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions we are both working at home. My work had provided me headphones and a mic that only covered one ear and it was very hard to wear for long periods of time and would even give me a headache on long meeting days. These are very comfortable for long meetings and have noise reduction so that the ambient noise of my house doesn’t bother me.
I now purchased this new headset for my son and his gaming and music entertainment so he wouldn’t have to steal my office phones. He says they are a very good gaming headset and that the microphone is good and when he plays on-line his friends can hear him very well. He can plug in the USB and they light up which makes him look very cool. Note that the USB light is not in any way required except for esthetics and are not required for general use. He also said that they are great for listening to music and have great sound.
I would highly recommend these headphones. I have been using the G9900 for 7 months and love them and now they have this new and improved model. I have been recommending them to my co-workers and now I recommend them to you. You will love this headset. They are very well built and come at a very reasonable price.

The sound quality is good, and I like that it uses 3.5mm jacks instead of USB (the USB jack only controls the lights.) Which, for gaming, means there is no audio delay.
The speaker surrounds are well padded and comfortable.
The microphone is flexible, and had no complaints from other players, though I cannot verify it's exact clarity myself.
Lastly, the braided cable is on par with more expensive peripherals I've used.

I like the different designs and I use the headsets often for virtual meetings, video calls, videos & music. Overall the headset performs well, above expectation & have satisfactory volume control & noise cancellation. This G9900, unlike most headset, control button that are on the wires/cable, has the mute/unmute dial and the volume control button on the left of the headset itself which I like it very much and find it very practical. It makes it so much easier to turn/operate the dial just by reaching behind the headset. No dangling controls! Very nice quality for the price, very well made and very comfortable with adjustable fit. I haven't use it on gaming system yet but one of these days I'll try and maybe I will revisit to update my review. Just a thought! We purchased the 9900 to see if the quality was even better. The sound is great and more accurate. It’s more comfortable to wear. The bendable microphone is a cool feature that allows you to adjust the headset more to your liking. The LED lights look cool but with the Xbox and wireless controller it’s not that convenient to use. We might have to get an adapter to lengthen the usb connection. Bengoo’s G9900 headset is more refined than their previous headset being the G9000 series.
Feel: • With the G9900 the first thing you’ll fall in love with is the fit of how the headset feels around your head. With the earmuffs being a little bit thicker and being made with different material than the G9000 it feels fitted to your face in a comfortable way. • When you put the headset on it feels like a perfect fit. With the adjustable head band, the memory foam earmuffs, and the memory foam in the head band it equates to a perfect fit for hours upon hours of use.
Design: • The design of the G9900 looks good and feels good. It’s like a slick design with a nice matte finish to it. • The LED’s of this headset is red and they complement the overall design of the headset really well. • The length of the cable is longer than the G9000. • The mic controls for the headset are located behind the left earmuff instead of on the cable itself. I like this approach towards the design because you want have to worry about the bulky mic controls getting in the way of your intense gaming sessions, it want feel like the headset is wearing you down, or worry about it getting hung onto something. The controls are in a very easily accessible spot and out of the way so you don’t have to worry about any hassle. • The mic is flexible meaning you can control where the mic should be for better audio quality of picking up your voice and your voice being clear to others when in use.
Sound: • The sound quality is a step up from the G9000. It has 3D surround sound where you feel emerged in what you’re listening to. The sound quality really balances out each individual sound in order to make the 3D effect of the sound going through the headset. • The bass in the G9900 is more define than it was in the G9000 headset. You really do hear the impact of each defining sound which immerses you in the mood of gaming, listening to music, and etcetera to make each experience of using the G9900 unique.
Conclusion: In conclusion the G9900 is a step above the G9000 in every aspect. It makes everything you use the headset for unique and leaving you satisfied with your purchase after each use. The only compliant I have is that it only comes in red but I’m sure later down the line with this headset or a future headset they will have more color options.
