When streaming to the 720p monitor it is obviously not the greatest resolution. My questions is: If I buy a 1080p monitor will that fix the issue, OR does the stream quality also rely on my graphics/video card?
Shot an event for my girlfriend the other day as an early "test" of sorts with my new P3. After the event, was at a friends and shot another 2-3 videos just putting around showcasing it.
Last night, I did an evening flight, and tonight did a few more at a friends. All together, I figure I recorded approximately 7-8 videos.
Tonight I put the SD into my MacBook, and was only able to retrieve 2 video files. Worth noting is the oldest video had a file name ending in 0001, while the older of the two videos was named 0002. I fly using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and haven't seen the files stored on here anywhere. There's seemingly no rhyme or reason as to which 2 of the 7 recorded. I figure that it's roughly video number 5 and 7 are the ones that actually recorded, which leaves me puzzled.
Any idea where else these could be pulled from, or a setting I may have inadvertently changed?
My monitor is a little "out dated" ( 1366 x 768 Recommended resolution ) I switched the Xbox to 720p and the stream still seems grainy. Are you guys experiencing this problem with newer high end monitors?
So first off the most excited thing for me about windows 10 and game streaming was the thought of using it as a "capture card" to stream via OBS to twitch.
First I wanted to see how game streaming works. I'm not an expert when it comes to networking, but know my way around computers and am comfortable. My connection is nothing amazing, 24.8mbps DOWN, 7.64mbps UP. I use the router my ISP (BELL) gave me. I have my computer hardwired and XBOX one on wifi 12 feet away. I am able to game stream at high quality with NO lag, its perfect and took no setting up.
Next I downloaded OBS and setup a global source to capture my monitor. With my basic connection and game streaming I can stream 720p at stable 30fps over twitch, best part is because I play on the original source I still get 60 fps, and no lag on my TV.
I am able to setup my scenes and then control them via my tablet or phone, use wireless headset on PC for xbox partys, interact with chat via tablet or phone all from my couch...
all for free with minimal setup..
