I just bought Hogwarts Legacy on Steam because it was on sale and I already loved it on the Xbox S. The game crashed the first time halfway through the customization and it was right after I started to stream to a friend on discord so I said fine I’ll wait until I have actual gameplay. So it crashed again after customization and the first cutscene started. I found it weird but I started it again and I checked the settings, I changed the steering to windowed, it crashed. Tried again, turned off NVIDIA DLSSS, crashed. Tried again and it seemed to work and was even able to stream on my discord call.
It was after Ranrok blasted me in the vault that the game crashed once again. Crashed once more before entering the Dining Hall and crashed another time before the sorting hat and finally crashed when I was being shown the entrance to the common room.
I have a 4060 8gb vram and 16gb of ram. And I had all the recommended settings and every time I crashed and tried to change setting I switched the rendering, I even switched to 720 rendering but that was with NVIDIA DLSS Ultra Performance, do I have to turn off DLSS completely? What am I doing wrong?
