So this may be hard to explain but I would appreciate any help I can get, stupidly to have my TV free for someone else's use I hooked up my Xbox to an old monitor through a VGA adapter, and it worked fine, however, when I hooked it up back to my TV it was not recognizing the 1080p setting, I had to turn it on in safe mode so that it would display and it did, everything is working as intended, except that when I go into the settings and switch to 1080 or even 720 the screen goes black again unless I switch it back. I've tried different HDMI cables and a different TV and it has the same issue, I also tried resetting it to factory settings but the issue persists, is there a way to hard reset my Xbox (not going through the menu I already did) or has anyone faced the same issue before?
