Help setting up aspect ratio for Series S

Hi guys, I recently picked up an old monitor for free and trying to set it up with my Series S

The monitor has a VGA / DVI port and I've put a DVI to HDMI cable which I plugged into my Xbox

Initially the aspect ratio was fine had black bars and when opening the display options only let me choose 480p option and nothing else

I then went into

Video and fidelity > Overides > DVI

It then lets me select 720/1080p but now the ratio has changed and I no longer have black bars but I have a stretched screen? (I presume it's forcing 16:9)

Is there any way I can have 720p resolution with 4:3 ratio (yes I want the black bars on screen)

Any help would be great
