Did you guys know a plethora of 8th gen games received default lower resolution ports on Xbox One compared to PS4?

Recently I was replaying Watch dogs 2 on my series and I wondered how did everyone tolerate such bad aliasing and resolution for a 2016 game until one day I played it on my brothers PS5 and realized it ran at a crisp 1080p with anti aliasing for them. This was actually the case for a lot of games in that era like anthem, GTA V, and watch dogs 1, Black Ops 3 and way more. PlayStation players usually got native 1080p ports while we ended up with some weird shit upscaled 720 or 900p.

I had the One S and X but was the OG Xbox One that damn weak? We basically paid the same price for a lower quality version of every AAA title up until like 2020.
