Xbox will occasionally just power cycle (softmodded)

I've got a softmodded Xbox PAL (which doesn't support progressive scan) I use enigmah + a Pound HDMI to run NTSC and get 720/480p on games (looks fantastic) Anyways, sometimes I'll be in the dashboard or in a game and the Xbox just power cycles and takes me back to dashboard ? This is causing another issue where its booting in B&W occasionally

Anybody know what might be causing it to do that?
