I have been loving this wheel for the past month, however as with most new hardware - the software supporting it as well as individual game updates can severely lag behind in development. In my case, I wanted the wheel-base RPM lights to work with ACC when the wheel is in "Pro" mode, opposed to G923 Compatibility. I noticed the lights would occasionally work, but not always. I seemed to have found a quick workaround for this specific title.
- I use an on-board profile for ACC (I avoid LG Hub at all costs, but went against a previous promise to never use Logitech products until they came out with better software).
- Launch ACC -> Options -> Controls -> Make sure you have a G923 Compatibility profile saved here and a Pro Wheel profile (if not, save the Pro profile it has loaded as a custom one, exit game, place wheel in G923 modem go to Controls and save the default config it has for the G923 as another custom config). At this point you should have custom G923 and Pro profiles. See screenshot example.
- Load the G923 profile, exit the game.
- Re-launch ACC (making sure wheel is in Pro mode), go back to the Controls page, load the profile for the Pro Racing wheel. The RPM lights should now work.
Basically, it seems that as long as ACC was exited/launched with a G923 profile set within the Controls, switching it to Pro when beginning a new session somehow allows the RPM lights to work. If I launch the game and it already has the Pro profile loaded, the RPM lights do not work and will not work by switching between in-game profiles. I figured I'd share since there isn't much out there on this wheel yet (aside from a million basic review videos for prospective purchasers). GLHF
