Some suggestions and considerations for the new Big Picture

I have some complaints about the new Big Picture interface.

Library:

I think the cover arts are quite separate from each other, and I think it should have a more transparent or elegant background just like the PS5 library, the Steam Deck has a library with cover arts closer together.

Game Store Page:

The cover arts should be posters or the game's logo with a background wallpaper and not rectangular, because the game's cover photos are in poor resolution and take up a huge space.

The page background is very dull, it should at least have a game wallpaper in the background, just like you guys put at the beginning of the Big Picture.

​

They should be more inspired by the interface of current consoles.

an addendum, that the store and game pages open as a link, and in the current and old big picture it is not so.

Game Page Library:

For the game's library page I think it doesn't quite match the same Steam Deck page, as the page works great on a smaller screen than a large screen.

​

I think the concept is beautiful, but it should be worked on a lot more for the big screen version. An example is the screen that shows during the Steam Deck trailer that is completely different and prettier than the current version.

It's good to see the Big Picture fresh and test it, but it still needs to be modified a lot, it has to be different from the Steam Deck version in many ways, because most things only work on the small screen of the Steam Deck, and when brought to the On the big screen, everything gets cluttered and weird. I hope the Big Picture for PC isn't a complete copy and paste of the Steam Deck, and will bring some extra freshness during future updates to the big screen like Monitor and TVs. It's not looking like something made for TV like the previous Big Pictures did.
