Which mic and minidsp options are best for a newcomer to minidsp. Multiple rooms to fix up.

I have four areas I’m working with.

1) a 20 x 26’ office where bass tends to get boomy. 4.2 system. Denon 3600, PSB synchrony 2b fronts, with 1 Svs pb 1000 pro. 1 PSB subsonic 6 rear and 2 PSB alpha t rears. 80% stereo + sub listening. 20% multichannel stereo+sub while playing pool in the middle of the room and waking around all over the place (otherwise I’d ditch the rear setup altogether). The fronts in this sound great but the rears sound not great.

2) secondary workspace: 2.0 system consisting of old pioneer amp and PSB imagine x2 speakers. No sub as speakers are competent to ~32hz. Have no gripes with the sound of this space but since I’m getting into minidsp might as well fix this up too.

3) a 16 x 13 basement home theater. 7.3.4. Looking for clarity. Demon 3700 + Aiyma a07 amplification for last 2 channels. PSB imagine x all around for 7 bed layer speakers. Polk rc60 for 4 atmos level in-ceiling. 3 subs consisting of 2 PSB subsonic iis up front and a Svs pb-1000 pro in the rear corner. (Fronts tend to get very boomy; Svs is basically perfect in the rear and is really carrying the front two). 80% atmos gaming/movies via ultrahd played through xbox series x, 20% 5.1 tracks streamed through Netflix/prime. Generally this space sounds good and I’m just trying to get my 3 subs to play nice together.

4)Ancillary game room: 4.1; denon 720; monoprice inwalls, PSB subsonic 125. Generally this space sounds bad. Not sure this can really be saved or if I should just accept it for what it is - an very budget 4.1 system. Looks slick, though, with the in-walls.

As you can see, I like PSB. Kinda fell down a rabbit hole trying to optimize my office listening space and wound up buying a lot of PSB speakers on kijiji. Now that I know all their lines I’m In their ecosystem. They’re somewhat local to me.

Questions: 1) which mic is best for someone who is getting into REW/minidsp tuning and has multiple areas to work with? Have never done any of this before. But since I’m headed down this hobby path, would rather buy something good from the getgo-go instead of buying mid-range and then upgrading later. Audioholics likes the Dayton audio mics? I am in Canada so must be available here.

2) There seem to be lots of minidsp options. Willing to buy dsps for each of the four spaces, if worth it. I assume audessy multi eq32 is handling higher frequencies well enough in main office workspace and basement theater that I don’t need to worry about the other channels there. Response seems inconsistent in game room so may try to correct all 4.1 there; but not willing to spend much ona space im seldom in.

3) what’s the best tutorial on using minidsp and REW? is there any way to automate all this or at least be efficient so I don’t spend 20+ hrs per space on this project?
