Need some advice for streaming from xbox with terrible video and audio issues.

Normally i stream from my computer but lately i've been teaming up with a console only friend who's trying to break into streaming and so we are both streaming from xbox and running into some major issues. Hopefully someone here has run into the same issues and has some advice.

We both have 50mbps upload speed and are streaming at 720 with bitrate set to automatic. The main issue is the video becomes very choppy and blocky. The audio from the party chat goes between cutting out and sounding like a dying robot.

Yet when checking out the twitch inspector it says the Configuration Check is excellent with "No recommended changes!" and says its stable.

The stream is far from stable though. I'd say 80-90% of the stream is boxy looking and pixelated. Although when i stream from pc I normally stream at 1080 and only have the occasional spots where the video glitches out if it happens at all.

The second part of the issues we are having is with the audio from the party chat. In the twich broadcast settings the "Party Chat" slider for volume is greyed out even though we are in a party and both sides have selected to allow their audio to be included.

With the slider being greyed out we are running into an issues where I can't hear myself on my stream even with my mic slider turned all the way up. My friend comes through nice and loud though and since the party can't be turned down from the greyed out twitch setting it leaves the party talking over the presenter. We have kinda gotten around it by manually turning down each party member but sometimes it seems like turning them down through the party options only turns them down in my headset and the stream still gets the party at full volume.

He is having the exact same issue but the other way around. On his stream with his mic turned all the way up in twitch with the game audio turned down and then the party audio still being greyed out and unchangeable, i come through his stream nice and loud and yet he can't be heard at all.

Then to top it off the audio cuts out and goes all robotic constantly. Between the video going all shitty and the audio randomly doing the same it leaves the stream unwatchable and can't even salvage any clips from it to turn into YT videos.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make it stream better? Is it just an issues with doing it from xbox? I'm kind of thinking it might be considering that the same issues are happening to both of us when we both have good internet through two different ISP's and normally I can stream perfectly fine to Twitch & YT from any other devices with the issues only arising when broadcasting from xbox.

Advice on how to continue.

Hey everyone, I (24m)and my wife (26f) have been together for 6 years and married for 3.

We have a single son. He is 2, and pretty awesome.

Im working in the military, just got promoted! My wife stays at home with my son. We only have one car, because that’s all I can afford right now. Just got backstory

From 2016-2019 I met her overseas. While stationed there. After I got out of the military and immigrated overseas and worked there because she didn’t want to leave. After Covid we decided to go back to America and I got back into the military. We are all here now, she is going through the immigration process.

Now I will list the points of tension.

She is a very emotional arguer, I do not show anger or sadness often, I am very patient. She will scream in my face, she has hit me, she throws things, she has called me a racial slur once. (and I think she is actually scared of black people). Once she told me I was just like my father (my father left my mother before I was born, I have never met him) which I found strange, because she’s never met my father, and I support her and my son. She has a therapist for her depression, but she hides all of it from Me.

She tells me she hates small talk, because it doesn’t matter. She tells me she hates deep conversations because she always feels wrong. Me and my wife have different strengths, we are both smart if different things. Sometimes we disagree about world views. But I am the type of person where I say “ I understand where you are coming from, and you may be right but I disagree” or “I don’t think there is a right or wrong in this situation I think there is a grey area” she takes this as me calling her stupid. I think she is smarter than me but it doesn’t matter what I think.

Money. Hot topic she handled money our whole relationship, budgeting and everything. I’m bad at it, she loves it. We agreed to make monthly allowances for both of us. I used part of my budget for credit on a game system. So every month 40% of my budget goes to paying off my new Xbox. She was okay with this. Now my credit score was 800. It is now 720, but has gone back up to 750. I opened the car loan in my name, her immigration papers, and now the living room furniture. I paid some of those things off, but nonetheless I did not want to open more credit. I offered as a present if she wanted to pick out a purse We would put it on credit. At the time she wanted one but then she got in an argument at the store. Ruined her mood and the purse got ruined (the worker scratched the leather while looking at it), so no purse. A month later she freaked on me because I didn’t want to pull credit out for her vanity and make up, because I wanted more finical security. So she decided to stop cooking for me, stop budgeting , so now I’m doing all that. Which is fine, but the added stress while also working can be annoying when I definitely feel like work loads aren’t even here.

She keeps asking for money even to though I have no more to give, it hurts for me to say no. She keeps saying it’s because “it’s your (me) money not ours” and i say “ it is our money, but yes I am the one that is making it” she says it’s financial abuse because one time I didn’t give her 40$ to go out with her friends even though she was already 100$ over her budget. She then wanted to separate and without my knowledge bought a plane ticket back overseas, over-drafted her own bank account overseas. She ended up changing her mind and returning the tickets, but I had to pay interest and overdraft fees about 400$. But I was happy she wasn’t leaving.

She doesn’t let me touch her. If we accidentally brush elbows in the kitchen. Or our feet touch on the couch, she will jump back or just leave the room entirely. We haven’t kissed in months, she hasn’t said she loved me.

Honestly I guess. After writing this, I can see that it’s over. I keep trying to hold it together. All my friends tell me she is abusive and gas lighting me. Tell me to record her and stuff for case something happens.

I guess I just don’t want to give up. And I don’t know how to proceed. I don’t want it to be over.

Too Much Crashes Often.... or is it just me?

Lately my game crashes too many times in the god selection lobby. I've seen PC, PS4 and Xbox players have the same issues in the new season 9.3/9.4 and haven't seen any posts of Hi Rez addressing this. My buddy just got a 720 min ban because his game crashed in the god selection lobby, that is just stupid for something that's not in our control. Hi Rez should listen to the community and do something about it, because their support system is unresponsive too

Plex capping at 328, but only on remote access with browser

Plex basically changed the way I enjoy movies with friends, but I have a problem.

When I watch something from my local network, everything works as it should. Friends can only watch content up to 328p on the Web Browser though. HOWEVER, they can watch the content in 720 and 1080 when they use the Xbox or PlayStation Apps for Plex. What can we do for it to work like this on the browser, though?

Xbox shows no signal when it’s in any resolution higher than 640 - any suggestions?

Hey everyone,

I'm really confused on this issue and hoping someone can help. My Xbox will show "No Signal" when I try to use a resolution higher than 640. It acts differently on different TVs too. I have 4 different TVs and my Xbox works perfectly in 1080p on one of them, but gives me the "No Signal" on the other 3. The primary TV I'm trying to use is a Hisense 70" Class A6G Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV. I boot in low resolution mode and everything works fine, but when I switch it to 720 or higher, the screen goes black and shows No Signal. It will occasionally flicker between No Signal and the Xbox screen, but won't stay on for more than a second or two. Are there settings that I need to link between my TVs and Xbox?
