I’ve seen other people talk about this, but none quite fit what’s going on with mine. Any time I load up Warzone and get to the main screen, the Xbox will instantly shut off. Not go back to the dashboard or soft freeze, just completely shuts off the Xbox and I can’t turn it back on without manually pressing the button on the front of the Xbox. The game was working perfectly fine until the newest update on June 30th. I have the Xbox One X.
My TV is a little older so it doesn’t have 4K or anything like that, the only video display options I can check/uncheck through Xbox are Allow 24Hz and Allow YCC 4:2:2, so I can’t do the HDR thing like many people recommend (I have tried playing with both of these settings though). I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing cache, re-setting Xbox while keeping games/apps and removing, switching from 50/50 internal to all internal then all external, lowering the Xbox resolution from 1080 to 720….
This is ONLY a Warzone problem. Every other game runs smoothly without any issues, even Cold War. If anyone has any ideas please let me know, the hours I work make it to where I can’t contact Activision Support.
