Hi everyone. First off lemme say that I love my Xbox series X . I was a Sony gamer for many many years before making the switch in November, mainly because I fancied a change. I certainly won’t be going back!
Now, I’m sure this has been Discussed on the thread before at some point. But I was wondering what do you think a better name for the console(s) would’ve been? Apparently when they announced the series X the sales for the Xbox One X increased by 400%. This has obviously created much confusion.
Xbox have had a history of difficult names.
The 360 was a great name for a console and I remember people thinking the follow-up was going to be called the 720 however that would have not made sense as around that time we were moving into 4K gaming and the reference to 720 would have been silly as gaming at 720p resolution is a thing of the past mostly. Then the Xbox One was announced as a home entertainment all in one system. I can understand why they did not name the follow-up Xbox two.. Because PlayStation is now on five and it could potentially look as if they were behind . sort of similar to the reason that Samsung have jumped to S20 rather than fall behind apple in naming. Anyway I’m rambling on so please put some suggestions for what you think would’ve been a cool name for this generation. Thanks!
