Considering OSSC for Genesis, SNES, and PS2 (maybe Xbox too someday if I get one with a working disc drive). Intend to get the HD Retrovision Component cables for each. The display I have for my current setup is a Hisense 55H8G. In terms of analog signals, composite video in only. Playing the SNES, for example, the composite cables run to my switchbox, to my AV receiver (does not have component in either), and to the TV using the receiver's analog video out (does not convert to digital, the HDMI and analog inputs are outputted separately). The video displayed is listed as "720*480I @ 60Hz." What common game should I try and what should I look at to see if the frame timing is displaying correctly or incorrectly? Other than something like that, is there anything else I'm missing that I should check on before deciding whether or not to get the OSSC?
