Bit of an odd one here. My One X worked perfectly fine no issues before, but all of a sudden it no longer works on my monitor. I’ve tried out various different methods like cold/hard/soft resets, different HDMI cables, different TVs, power sockets etc. I just woke up one day and it’s stopped working out of the blue.
However, when you use the Xbox Companion App on Windows 10, it streams perfectly fine with no issue. And what’s even weirder, is when you go into “video fidelity” settings, no matter what option you select, there’s only an option for 480p. When I leave it on “auto-select” the only option is for 640x480, and when selecting HDMI the option for 1080p is there but my monitor still complains there is no signal.
I’ve had this weird thing happen once or twice when I’ve performed a reset (all settings cleared etc) it can display fine at 480 during the initial setup, it can detect 720 or 1080 which work fine for a couple minutes, but when you turn off the console the problem comes straight back.
