Decided to give Stadia a go to the with the current sale on Jedi Fallen Order. Having a blast even on my shitty student housing Wi-fi, but it does have its not-infrequent laggy moments.
I read online that using an official controller is more responsive bc it connects directly to the Wi-fi, so was wondering if anyone had any personal experience of the difference in speed using the official controller compared to a Bluetooth controller (I’m currently using an Xbox one controller)?
Also, if anyone has any other tips to reduce lag they would be greatly appreciated. I’ve turned the resolution down to 720 (resolution really doesn’t bother me) and my internet has a ~48mbps download speed according to the google test. I don’t have an Ethernet port on my laptop and the router is in an awkward place anyway, so can’t really use a wired connection. Thanks :)
