So here’s the deal...with Xbox console streaming, does xcloud really serve a purpose? Xcloud currently streams at 720 and 30 Fps and only supports “some” of the entire gamepass library. Its also slow since it’s still running on one S blades..but when the series x comes out, and assuming one has an expansion card and can download a decent chunk of games to the series X, wouldn’t it make more sense to just remote play directly from your series X instead of booting up xcloud? With the series X and game streaming you would get the speed of the SSD, plus the entirety of the gamepass library (of course you need to download), better resolution, and better framerate, better latency, streamed directly to your phone. When xcloud gets series X blades the service would be more comparable to console streaming I suppose. But isn’t console streaming to a Series X a superior experience?
I don’t own an Xbox but I have xcloud so I can’t speak to console (remote play) streaming experience. How is it compared to xcloud?
