The main goal of this build was to be as future-proofed as possible against the PS5 and Xbox Series X using this video from Digital Foundry as a reference. This means I need it to be able to ideally run at 1440p 60FPS high-max settings, 1080p 165-240FPS, fully utilise ray tracing and have nvme SSD compatibility for speedy load times. I also need to be able to readily switch out any parts for new ones as-and-when they are released.
I'd like to point out that the RTX 2080 Super listed below is only a place-holder for the RTX 3000-series equivalent when that comes out (soon, hopefully!). I'm also buying from the UK so please bear that in mind.

With this being my first build, I have a few queries on a few things:
-
Firstly, does my build look ok? Are there any compatibility issues I should be aware of?
-
Will my RTX 3000-series GPU go straight into this build with no issues?
-
As I understand the Ryzen 7 comes with a pretty good CPU cooling fan. Would I see any noticeable gains in investing in a CPU water-cooling system? Or will this one do the job?
-
Will this CPU and motherboard be good for many years to come? Although I'm not entirely sure what it means, I hear PCIe 4.0 compatible motherboards are a must. Is the motherboard I have chosen PCIe 4.0 compatible?
-
And finally, I'm a little bit under budget. Other than getting a beefier CPU or GPU, are there any other areas I could invest in to get more performance/ stability?
Thanks for taking the time out to read.
