Ps4 forces 720 on my monitor but jumps to 1080p on my tv. How do i fix this?

Hi, I've recently moved my pa4 from my main tv to my smaller monitor, after a painful hour of nothing working, i found out that the resolution isnt supported. 720 works, but neither 1080p or 1080i will work. I would like to know how to fix this to get a better picture.

My xbox (also connected to the monitor) is in 1080p so i know its possible, i just need some help figuring this out.

My monitor is a Sceptre C278W-1920R

Anyone know how to fix this?
