I just dropped my resolution to 720 on Xbox one x and it seems to play better...

Anyone got any further info on this? I have been looking for and trying new ways to get apex to run better on the Xbox one x to stop frame drops. Possibly the last thing I could have tried is turning the resolution on the Xbox from 1080p down to 720... just did it an hour ago and played 4 games and barely dropped a frame.... idk if these two have any correlation whatsoever tho is why I’m posting this for the tech guys in here to give me some insight.

I looked up at my FPS counter on my monitor during a few gun fights I was way ahead on and knew I was going to win and the frames stayed around 55-60. That’s a far cry from my normal when frames normally drop into the 40s during gunfights. Another thing I was noticing is when the frames do drop in 720, they aren’t a drastic drop. Like on the drop ship they will be in the 40s but stay consistent from 40-50 before going back to 60. Normally my frames will be at 60 and drop to 40 then back up to 55 back down to 40 up to 60 or something along the lines of that. I think the frames staying somewhat consistent and not jumping all over the place is what makes the game feel smoother.

So again idk if this has any correlation or if it’s just cuz the servers aren’t jammed yet being early Saturday morning or less internet traffic or what. Has anyone had any experience doing this? Or would anyone needing a fix like to experiment with it and let me know how it does for them?
