What's the best handheld for in-home streaming right now?

The Steam Link app has gotten so good for in home and remote play. But the hardware handheld market seems like it's still firming up, with no clear front runner.

What I want from an Android or Win based handheld for Steam streaming:

  • Solid controller that feels great (for action games) and has all the functionality of an Xbox controller (L3, etc)

  • Happy with 720 display, but 1080 would be great

  • Screen size large enough to see PC game text and menus (but not huge)

  • GREAT Wi-Fi reception, as that's obviously key for streaming.

  • Internal specs don't need to be amazing bc my PC does the lift and I don't care about emulating 3D games

Essentially, a Nintendo Switch form factor that runs Android.

I would pay a premium for something that doesn't feel flimsy and has great response.

I have been looking at the GPD XP+ but I don't love the clamshell design and I'm worried about the placement of shoulder buttons and L3 being separated from the sticks.

So does my dream streaming+emulation handheld exist yet? Or should I wait another year.
