Being the tech-savvy, bargain-hunting person I am, I finally gave in and decided to upgrade on my Xbox one x gaming. the goal was simple, to maximize the value.
I was looking for building 2K-60Hz Ultra PC for under $800 and I did it;
here is my parts list;
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fw3rvW
even though pcpartpicker says $1200 (without taxes), I was able to complete my build for ~$720 after taxes. here is the cost I actually paid for parts;
- Visiontek 5700 ($230 after 30% cashback from Rakuten)
- Ryzen 3600 ($160 after 10% eBay bucks deal)
- Ram ($50 was on sale on Amazon) - I really didn't pay for it, amazon gave it for free because of a f*ck up on their end)
- Cooler ($20 from amazon was on sale after 10$ discover cashback)
- Motherboard ($80 from amazon)
- Case ($72 after 15$ off of 60 on amazon using chase)
- PSU ($54 after $20 rebate)
- SSD ($100 on amazon)
- Windows ($10 from 3rd party seller)
in the end, I am extremely happy with my build and I think I got a killer price/performance ratio
