So I know I'm wayyyyy behind on this, especially considering the NEW Xbox is set to launch in 2020. But let's ignore that fact right now and pretend it doesn't exist.
I've been a PlayStation guy forever, really for no particular reason, it's just what I went with and chose, but I'm now looking to make the jump over to Xbox and finally get in on and enjoy some Xbox exclusive shit. So my question is a pretty simple one. The current Xbox deals out virtually everywhere are either an Xbox One S 1TB for $250, or an Xbox One X 1TB for $350.
I do have a 4k TV, but I'm honestly so use to playing games at only 720 or 1080p resolution, that I feel like 4k wouldn't even matter to me that much. So what's the better choice? Is it smarter to get the X model for $100 more and have that 4k UHD ability on whatever games support it, or is it not that big of deal and it's smarter to get the S model and then have the extra $100 for whatever... an extra game, headset, controller, etc?
What would you guys recommend?
