TV for playing 6G / 7G consoles

Hi everyone,

I'm not sur I am at the good /r, since I will ask advices for 2000~ gaming consoles.

I would like to play to my old consoles (xbox, ps2, gamecube mainly), but I'm afraid that my new TV will make everything blury as hell. So I am looking for advices to buy a TV dedicated to that purpose.

I also want to discovers older consoles (I was too young back then), so I just buy mini NES / SNES and I want to play it with the same TV. At least, I will maybe also play with my xbox 360, ps3, wii on it, but not really sure.

So my question is : should I look for flat screen anyway, with a 1080 resolution ? Or a 720 will be enough ? Or should I look for older TV technology ?
