First off, the results are in and it looks like IS listened to our complaints. The female lord, Edelgard, is the first female lord to fully have a spotlight never taken from her. In fact it's literally gorilla glued to her back the whole game despite her complaints. She literally could not lose the spotlight if she tried unless she had someone stronger than gorilla glue take it from her which no character in fire emblem has ever been that strong.
Skinship is now a school bully simulator. You can use joycons to give Lorentz a wedgie, shove Dimitri's head in a flushing toilet, and steal Dorothea's hat while playing keepaway from her with other students. You can also frame other student houses for pranks just as Kaga intended.
You can start fights at flagpoles to raise unit stats. Loser gets egged a bunch by the other students. You can join in on the fun with your Nintendo Switch Joycon motion controls. Looks like IS really took the very common Radiant Dawn complaints to heart here.
Sigurd makes a cameo. That's right. Zigludo senpai didn't die in FE4 after all. He faked his death and went to high school in Fodlan.
Ike also makes a cameo. He shows up and eats a rock with no milk. Then he leaves. What a legend.
There is a time skip but it actually skips backwards. We play as the lords as they were in elementary school. The fights happen because someone says swears or made a bad pokemon card trade.
In a bid to compete with the Pokemon company, IS will be releasing a "Detective Marth" trailer which you can only see if you play and beat the game on reverse recruitment H8 mode where every enemy starts with vantage and is auto-refreshed once.
You can romance everything in this game. You heard me, everything. That brick? Romanceable. Female Byleth's exposed midriff? Romanceable, yes even by Byleth. Deer in the woods? You bet it's available.
