Hi all, firstly any advice at all is appreciated.
I am an older gamer, playing fornite(don't hate me) competitively. I have no desire of playing in the world cup but I am close enough to the level to qualify.
I am looking for optimal settings to run the game as smooth as possible. For anyone who hasn't played, basically the competitive side consists of a lot of people alive as the map gets smaller and more builds in game causing fps to drop from 50-60 to 10-20 which is unplayable and a huge disadvantage.
I have googled and read forums/posts about optimal settings as much as I can stand, ads and videos about quality rather than performance is mostly what is available. Id rather have bare minimum graphic settings and a smoother gameplay experience.
Here are my settings;
Monitor - Samsung 24" LS24D330HSX Game mode turned on Response time - fastest HDMI Black Level - Normal (should it be set to low?)
Xbox one S Video output on console, 720p(read 720 will allow better frames end game than 1080), 60hz Video modes settings - Allow 50Hz ticked, Allow YCC 4:2:2 ticked Video fidelity & overscan - HDMI, colour depth 24bits per pixel(8-bit), colour space standard
Internet - 150mb down and 150mb up, soon to be 500+ down
Also have capture settings turned off as I watched a video relating to this and slowing down console performance.
Thanks for reading
