Anyone else just get awful bit rates on games consoles? I have a ps4 pro and xbox one X and both when playing netflix have bit rates at like 2 mbps. And I’ve noticed how it works aswell, so basically when you play a show usually on say smart tv, it will start at 480, go upto 720 then finally 1080p and the bit rate is NEVER under 3 on smart tv, never. And when on games consoles, when you play a show, it will load up to 1080p straight away but at like 2.44 or 2.87 mbps and then it just doesn’t move then whatsoever stays like that through several episodes. It’s as thought the bit rate is not loading up proper. But then when watching 4K content, i can only play that on the games consoles, as on the smart tv the bit rate fluctuates all the time!! So frustrating. So basically i have to watch Hd shows on smart tv and 4K on the xbox.
