Hey Guys Khal Drogo here. Recently started taking streaming more seriously so currently just working my up the streamer ranks. I currently stream on Xbox One (GT) Khal Drogo 1337
I use my MacBook Pro 2017 with a dual core I5 2.3ghz and 8gb of memory. Apart from the normal issues that Mac generally has with running everything since most things are preferred for PCs. I'm getting a lot of dropped frames. I go through twitch inspector and the connection is solid with it not detecting many dropped frames but when I watch my replays or when I'm on watching the chat and seeing how my quality looks it generally seems lagged or delayed. Looking for any and all assistance here. I run an El Gato HD 60 as my external card. Im generally at about 70/80% CPU usage since being a Mac I have to run the Elgato game capture software as well as OBS simultaneously.
Looking for any stream veterans that can lend a veteran eye to the issue. I've tweaked a multitude of settings to no avail. Is it simply that I need a better set up and this is the max capabilities of my current set up? Trying to determine if this is user error or I should just scrap this laptop for a dedicated PC set up with lots of CPU. Just trying to tackle this with fresh eyes. Thanks for any help in advance! Currently organizing my schedule to free up more time from work so I can really dive into the twitch community. Hope to get to know everyone on here a lot better eventually. Will hopefully someday soon develop my skills enough where I can lend the same assistance to future streamers in my same situation.

Settings are as follows X264 Rate control CBR 3K bitrate Very fast CPU usage Base/Output 1280/720 60FPS Internet is 600MBS Of which I’m getting about 450 download and 22 upload.
