Back when my wife and I first got married I had an Xbox 360 and we played the fable games together. She has recently decided we need to do that again. I haven't had an Xbox since then (sold it back in 08'). I have no idea which model to pick up. We do not have any 4k devices at this time, we have two tv's that are 1080p and a plasma tv in the back room that is still 720p. Anyway, I don't foresee us getting a 4k tv anytime in the near future. I'm thinking about getting an Xbox One S at the moment. I believe all the newer models are backwards compatible, is that correct? I mainly game on pc and we also have a Nintendo Switch that my kids absolutely love. I'm sure they will also be playing whatever Xbox we pick up as well. Is Xbox gold still required for everything like it used to be? I remember you couldn't even watch Netflix without a gold pass back in the day. Also what other co-op games would you recommend for the Xbox? Thanks for any input.
