Why aren’t people talking about the DS:Remastered most important upgrade?

I should preface this that this will indeed be shoved underneath the huge pile of posts and be lost forever since no one seems to mention this.

So it seems that the general consensus of Dark Souls Remastered is mostly positive, but there is a huge reason why I think people should be even more excited. According to this link: https://fextralife.com/dark-souls-remaster-coming-switch-ps4-xbox-one-may-25th-2018/

From Software acknowledges this remaster far more as a “remake” than remaster.

"The remake runs at 1080p on the PS4 and Xbox One with 60 FPS. Clarifying since people get ahead of themselves: We are not confirming different mechanics (besides 6 players) or specifics on the game itself. This is a “remake” of the game using Dark Souls 3’s engine base. Expect Combat differences accordingly – Lightning, SFX and textures are rebuilt based on Dark Souls 3”

That right there, “Lighting, SFX, and textures are rebuilt based on Dark Souls 3” I was so slightly disappointed in the switch getting ANOTHER last gen 2011 port, but hearing that it is a completely new and improved version of Dark Souls 1, rather than just an HD port, makes me so happy in the switch. It removes that “last gen” label that many vocal negators seem to place onto the switch constantly. I also saw lots of talk before the direct if the switch could even run Dark Souls 3 in the first place, and seeing as it can run it at 1080p 30 instead of 720p 30fps, makes me feel a bit more proud in the switch’s tegra hardware.

P.S. Am I the only one who isn’t that annoyed by the 30fps for this version? I played all of Dark Souls 3 on PS4 and that ran just like this, 1080p 30fps. Which is really strange because I see people I know who played Dark Souls 3 in 30fps but are complaining about it now all of a sudden like it didn’t exist. (Ignore this tangent I’m just babbling)
