Xbox Game DVR on Windows 10: Too Good to be True?

Since I've had my Windows 10 laptop, I noticed that it had the Xbox app, and I didn't think much of it. Recently, however, I discovered that I can record gameplay. I tested it out, and it's pretty smooth. In comparison, XSplit Gamecaster demands a lot more CPU and memory. I also tested XSplit, and the final recorded video was choppy in frame rate. My recording of the same game (GTA San Andreas) with Game DVR was breathtaking. I uploaded a test recording to YouTube, and it was even in 720p.

I looked up information on Game DVR, and I haven't seen much hype for it. This seems like the most awesome game recorder ever! I also figured out that Game DVR can be abused very slightly... I opened it in a browser, and it asked if this was a game. Clicking "yes" allowed me to record what I did in my browser. Now... I have to know... Is this too good to be true? Is there a limit to how much I can record? If I have already recorded videos in the past, will it add up to the limit, and I won't be able to record anymore unless I buy something? I haven't found information on this, so I'm assuming (and hoping) that there is no limit.

I think people who have Xbox Game DVR should be very grateful that there exists a free game recorder with such amazing quality. I know that not everyone has easy access to it, but still. I was blown away with its quality so much that I wanted to contact the Microsoft heads and thank them for the awesome product. Maybe it's corny, but I really wanted to hype Xbox Game DVR.
