[Tech]CANT CHANGE RESOLUTION TO 720p/1080p, stuck at 640x480 on Xbox One S

So recently I bought Xbox One S and bought an Asus VZ229 monitor which has HDMI with it. I plugged the HDMI cable in my monitor and console HDMI out port and it starts at 640x480 and if I try to change the resolution manually anything above 640x480 i.e. 720p/1080p it gives black screen/no signal for a while and comes back to 640x480. It tired changing TV connection to DVI and HDMI, no luck. I also did the hold power and eject for 10secs thing. Whereas this same monitor works fine in 1080p with my PC via HDMI. I connected the console to my friend's monitor that's Samsung brand don't know the model but it worked fine on that one. Please, any help!
