I recently bought the PC version of R6 during the last free weekend. During the free weekend I had no issues playing the game and was excited to finally move over from Xbox to PC. The first week was fine, but now I’m having serious keyboard input lag. I had a temporary solution for a good week and a half by reinstalling my NVIDIA driver before I wanted to play, but a new driver was released and now I can’t fix the lag. I don’t even know why it worked in the first place, but it did. I tried reinstalling the old driver and working off that one, but nothing is working like it was a few days ago. The lag doesn’t happen every movement I make, but its frequent enough for the game to be insanely inconsistent and unplayable. The lag comes in 2 different forms. I will be moving in a certain direction and when I let go of the key, or just tap it, my character remains in motion for another second or so. This gets annoying when I want to run up somewhere and reload/ lean, but the game hasn’t finished moving my character, so the inputs for leaning/ reloading aren’t recognized. The other form is just a straight up movement delay when I press a key. I want to move forward to get out of a gunfight, but my character stands in place for a second before responding. I only have this problem in R6 and its turning me away from wanting to play the game. I play on a laptop, but I most definitely meet the game requirements; I’m usually running at 60-100 fps. I’ve tried looking up my issue but haven’t found anything of use.
