Unpopular opinion : Why are you excited for Skyrim ? It's a 6 years old game port

I've played Skyrim to death on Xbox 360 and PC. The game can barely run at 720p30 in handheld mode and has significant downscale in visual fidelity. The dynamic scaling cause lot of shimmering. No mods support. . So what is the appeal here ?
