I have had it with CableOne and the DATA CAPS***

Home ISP data caps are causing unnecessary anxiety. I am so sick of getting nasty grams from CableOne about my internet usage. Prior to having CableOne I had century link 25Mbs a second, and they have no data cap in my area. It worked great for streaming very rarely did i have buffering issues. We have since moved and CenturyLink only offered 12Mbs in my new nieghborhood. So I decided to use cable one and wow that has been a huge mistake. My wife works from home and. I signed up for the entry level plan. 300 gb a month. Went over for 3 months in a row and got upraded to the next level of 500 gb a month. Just got my second notice that if I go over 1 more time they are upgrading me again. next highest plan is 700gb and we used 915gb last month. I have dropped my netflix quality down to the low setting. I have turned off automatic updates on my xbox. If we still go over 500gb and get upgraded to the next plan(which is over 100 dollars month) I will be cancelling and switching the century link for 12Mbs. I do not see the point of having high speeds if I cannot even use them, and am forced to lower all the quality settings. I will probably be able to stream at least 720p video with 12 Mbs from centurylink and pay less than half the cost of what CableOne is charging. Data Caps in 2017 are starting to get super old wish my area had more competition.
