best 40-43 inch bedroom TV for the price?

Hello Everybody! I'm trying to decide between a few tv's for my bedroom. Just some background, I'm a college student, so not a ton of extra income at the moment, and I'm most likely going to have this tv for the next 3 years minimum, and the only reason I would get rid of it was due to moving far away. I currently have a 32 inch 720p samsung TV from 2007 that I love, but I want a size and resolution upgrade.

I'm mainly looking at the 40-43 inch range, and picture quality is important. I would like to spend as little as possible and only more if it's worth it. I game a lot on my normal ps4, and I might hook up my gaming PC to it as well. I would consider myself picky with image quality but I can be forgiving for price reasons. I will be hooking up a 2.1 setup I already own to it.

To start off at the cheap end is this 39 inch insignia TV that I can get for 219 with a student discount. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-39-class-38-5-diag--led-1080p-smart-hdtv-roku-tv-black/4863802.p?skuId=4863802[1]

This TV is capable enough, can play my ps4's native 1080p games, but from what I hear the darks are not that dark due to IPS technology (manufactured by LG). But I trust insignia, they made my secondary 24 inch TV/monitor thats been serving me well for 2 years.

Second option is this insignia 43 inch 4k TV (No HDR support) HDR isn't the most important thing in the world for me, but I think 4k is a good way to future proof myself a little. Similar story with this most likely being manufactured by LG and having the weird RGBW pixel configuration. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-43-class-42-5-diag--led-2160p-smart-4k-ultra-hd-tv-roku-tv-black/5678701.p?skuId=5678701[2]

Also on sale is this samsung UHD tv with excellent colors, blacks, and ok HDR support for 399 (MU6300). I've seen how this TV looks in person and I think it looks very good, but I'm not sure its worth the extra 100. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-40-class-39-5-diag--led-2160p-smart-4k-ultra-hd-tv-gray/5768401.p?skuId=5768401[3]

Finally is the Rtings.com highly recommended TCL S405. I've heard a lot of good things about this TV, but it's not very bright, still with a similar picture quality to the samsung and great futurproofness. I'm just unsure if the 350 price is right for it. Anyway, this is just kind of me rambling. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Also I know people aren't going to suggest 4k at this TV size, but I will alternate between bed, and also having my desk chair up close for 4k content. Maybe have an Xbox one x in the future or GPU upgrade coming if it looks good enough. 4k UHD blu rays would be amazing too, but once again this is a big investment, and if anyone has some really solid 1080p options too I'll be curious, because from what i can tell, all the nicer panels now are 4k only like the middle of the road samsung, LG, Vizo models as of 2017 so I would get bottom of the barrel stuff otherwise. And nothing used in my area has popped up worth buying.
