Ultra Short Throw Projector Suggestions

Hey everyone,

I’m very new into projectors and need some help choosing one. If you could make some recommendations that’d be great. I’ve listed some of the purposes I’ll be using it for below.

-Ultra Short Throw (I want it to sit on the console stand) -watchable with ambient light (slight sunlight or one or two lamps on in a room on) -Casual gaming (Xbox one) -movies/Tv shows -720p (1080 if possible but not necessary) -At least one HDMI, I can get a splitter if necessary

I’m trying to get it around $500 ish but if I am willing to go up to $1000 if it’s a good investment that’ll last me what 2 TVs would.

I was looking at the Brookstone Big Shot ultra short throw ($300), LG PH450 ultra short throw ($650) and philips screeneo HDP1690 ($1000). Open to any options. Also do I need a screen or is there cheaper ways to get around this? It’s a light green wall I’m projecting on.
