Considering PSNow, never had a PS3, can't afford PS4

So, I've been slowly building up a PC libarary of mostly older titles. I like it for the most part, primarily because I've been able to stream to my SteamLink without much issue, and use my XBOX 360 controller without any issues. But I've been looking at PSNow since the olde GaiKai days. I remember playing/streaming Crysis on a Netbook and blowing my friends away with limited bandwidth at our appartment at the time.

I've read many complaints about input lag, and the compression being very poor, but over the past month or so I've been reading the exact opposite. So I've been considering PSNow a bit more seriously recently, I've been thinking about getting a PS4 controller, and streaming some PS3/4 games and catch up on some exclusives I missed out on over the past 15 years (I got an XBOX 360 early on and could never afford a PS3).

So here are some of my questions/concerns:

  • What is the sound quality like? Stereo? Surround? Compressed sounding? 320kbs MP3 quality? Hissing?
  • What is the video quality like? 1080/60? 720/30? Really pixelated? Smooth nearly perfect?
  • How is the input lag? On my Steam Link, you can't even tell you're streaming it. Is it like that? or is it just god awful?
  • How is the game selection like? I'm getting this primarily for PS3/4 exclusives that I missed out on. Multiplats I could go without.
  • Can I stream it to my PC and then further to my steam link?

Some more info about my setup.
