Like the fog has been removed. Let me tell you my journey. Witcher 3 was great on PS4 but then I saw pc gameplay at 60fps. Tomb raider was great but then I saw it at 60 fps on YouTube. "How can this be?" I asked myself and slowly it all unraveled. 1.9 ghz bottleneck, my Xbox playing games at 720p and I cried. I proceeded to go online and see what pc I can make and decided that I will work my ass off this summer and buy a build worthy of a god. Gtx1080ti, i7-7700 and 32gb of ram. Surely I will play at least 60fps. Overwatch in glorious 144hz, no more weak consoles to hold me back. But what really put me over the edge... oh boy. Flash back to microsofts conference and the reveal of the One X. "Surely this will run games at 60fps!" I exclaimed thinking this was it. I don't have to spend 2k on a pc and still play 60fps ultra games. But then, to my astonishment, "crackdown 3 will run at 30fps. Assassins creed will run at checkerboard 4k". I cried once more. If they can't get first party titles to run at glorious 60fps, then what could they do? Oh yes yes I will get my beautiful pc and repent for my console sin. Please someone tell me how I can make up to you guys for thinking consoles were IT. 🙏🏾wish me luck.
