So I wanted to play FFXIII but didn't feel like. Ring out my PS3 or Xbox 360 and heard steam was having its summer sale. Never used steam or anything and I checked it out and saw FFXIII for $8 so I bought it and installed it. My MacBooks can run it in full screen display at 1280x 720 resolution, 2x anti-aliasing, with shadow resolution at 512x 512. Now here's the thing it's frame rate is between 24-30 fps when playing and combat (mostly 28-29 fps) and maintains a steady 60fps with cutscenes (I know it just a cutscenes but still) I know it's not the best settings but it works and you can in fact game on somewhat on a mac. Any resolution higher than 720 and the game runs at 12-20 fps and with resolution at max my mac can do which is 1600 it runs at like 8 or 9 fps. I'm buying all the FF off steam since I never played anything before X. I'm not a pc gamer and no next to nothing about playing games on steam.
