Question about elgato game capture HD!

So I am planning on building a streaming PC/ LAN PARTY PC that would help me stream 720@30. I currently own an Elgato Game Capture HD that I used back in my xbox days. My question is if I used this capture card between my PC and my streaming PC would I get decent looking video? Good enough to stream. I ask this because I have no idea about the quality of the capture card and if at all possible I'd like to avoid dropping 200 on a new one for the purposes for streaming at 720@30. Thanks!
