I'm not even that old (25) .......
I spent many years of my life playing games at 720p or less in most cases.
Faces looked like moving hexagons
Everything had pointy edges
Animations were horrible
FPS and Resolution, nobody even cared
When the main boss was like 5 pixels wide
Game saves were stored on a 250mb memory card (if they had a save option at all)
Digital downloads were not a thing
Console wars were non existent
Everybody loved playing games regardless of how shiny it looked or how many times the tv refreshed the frame that you couldn't see refreshing anyway.
If the game was bugged, tough! That was the game, end of.
Season passes and DLC did not exist, you paid for a game and it was yours (yes, ALL of it)
.... list is endless ... Feel free to add to it.
What we have is incredible, regardless of the brand name on the plastic box, the specs of your console or PC.
If you have a passion and a love for gaming then let's stop all this toxicity and fanboyism.
Xbox, PlayStation, PC and every other form of gaming you may use. Is it really so bad to be friends with others who likely share your passions and interests but may own a different device than you?
Does it really matter how many more pixels you are viewing compared to someone else?
For the love of gaming, save our community before it becomes too toxic and we all get that Game Over!!
