Total budget and country of purchase: 1500$ or less preferably. USA

Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications to your requirements for the money? Pick or include any that apply. No 2 and 1. Battery Life isn't too important, a few hours is fine. I plan on keeping it plugged in most of the time. but I will take it too class occasionally

How important is weight to you? I plan on getting a 15 inch, so 6 pounds or less would be ideal. but I'm pretty flexible here. However I don't want anything thats the size of my house if you know what I'm sayin.
-
Which OS do you require? Windows, Linux, Mac. Windows
-
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. Preferably 15inch. But am willing to look at 17inchers

Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. If you have no requirements, put N/A. Probably some editing with adobe. Definitely alot of pretty heavy gaming. Things like BF1, Witcher, Siege, Rust, Battlegrounds, GTA5 etc...
-
If you're gaming (leave blank if you put N/A above...), do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? 50-60 at high to ultra for most games at least. Its looking like a 1060 will be what I'm looking for

Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable business grade build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Very preferable for it to be decently reliable and sturdy. I'm not one to worry too much about build quality, but it's definitely a plus. Oh also would prefer it to not look too gamey and be an eyesore. the more minimal the better.

Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. So I've been doing some research myself and it looks like I've narrowed down to about three options:
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Legion-Y720-Traditional-80VR0078US/dp/B06WVQ7SQL/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1492543422&sr=1-1&keywords=lenovo+legion+y720 (When it comes out)
Does anybody own the above two? What do you think of the choices? Are there better ones? Now whats really important thing for me that I havn't mentioned above is that I would really like to have a cooling system that doesn't get dangerously hot and throttle the gpu and cpu. I'm ok with it getting hot, just not enough to severely affect performance. Also would prefer it to not be ridiculously loud as well. I wear headphones, but generally the quieter the better. These are pretty important, and the central reasons I'm unsure of what to buy.
I've heard some really good things about the Eluktronic in terms of cooling. But I know literally nothing about their brand, and I've never bought from a reseller before so I don't know what to expect. Is the build quality up to par? Is their throttling? How loud are the fans while gaming? Does it hold up against the other two?
I really like the look and form factor of the acer, but I don't really know how its cooling is. Is it more or less than the eluktronic. Or is the difference negligible? I'm willing to look at the 17inch version of this if that makes any difference to cooling.
Now the legion, is a tricky one since it isn't out. But I'm debating waiting till the end of the month and checking out reviews for it. The looks are a little gamey, but it has some cool features like atmos and a built in xbox wireless receiver and like acer its a more established brand (which may not make a difference idk). I'm also wary of its cooling considering it isn't out yet. I also know that the link above says its above 1500, but according to the lenevo site the base price will be 1400 so I think I'll be going for that one, if I go with this laptop.
Sorry for the huge info dump and all of my ramblings. I just want a laptop that'll be worthing putting this much money on and will last me at least several more years.
