[Tech] Probably a long shot but, staying at a Marriott for PAX East and there doesn't seem a way to hook up the Xbox, anyone been through this?

Some quick details:

They have a box in HDMI 1, with its own remote. No TV remote in the room other than the remote for this box which is basically only a custom cable box

You can plug the Xbox into HDMI 1, but the sound is maxed. No matter what and the remote doesn't change it.

There are two HDMI slots on said box, but when you try to select them just a black screen

PSA TO ALL PAX EAST GOERS AT A MARRIOTT WITH AN XBOX, EVEN THOUGH ITS A 1080P TV THE HDMI BOX THEY USE IS CAPPED AT 720P. THE XBOX WILL NOT AUTO DETECT IT. UNPLUG HDMI BOX, PLUG XBOX INTO HDMI 1, CHANGE SETTING TO 720P (SOUND IS MAXED ON THIS PORT AND ITS UNCHANGEABLE THATS WAY YOU NEED THE HDMI BOX) AFTER CHANGING TO 720P PLUG THE HDMI BOX BACK INTO 1 AND THEN PLUG THE XBOX INTO THE BOX, HIT INPUT ON THE REMOTE AND YOURE GOLDEN.
