For those of you having troubles with stuttering while streaming to PC

I have a PS4 Pro and it is unplayable over AC wireless using the official Remote Play app. It just stutters too much...even at 720p. It's a mess. It's sitting right below my Xbox One S on shelves and the Xbox streams perfectly using AC wireless.

I may have found a solution. It appears a hacker released his own version of Remote Play for PC and Sony answered by releasing an official version. This is the forum for the unofficial version.

As a bonus, if you buy the premium version for about $8, it appears you can use other controllers and don't have to use the dualshock 4 controller....as well as connect directly to the PS4 without using your wifi connection, etc.

But, I did not try the premium version. I only tried the free. I played Tales of Zestiria for about 20 minutes and only experienced two single stutters. Contrast that to multiple stutters every few seconds on the official app.

So, this may be a workaround until Sony fixes their app. I know it works fine for some people, but it is unusable for a lot of us.
