holy fucking shit now that was insane.
How so? Looks to me like just a few ordinary frags. Seeing this on the front page I assumed it would be something remarkable. Disappointing. This is what I would regard as "insane". CS:GO players seem to be very easily impressed.
I've never understood why this game has so much hype around it (from a competitive standpoint). It seems pretty noobish to me - no recoil, no ADS, very linear maps (impossible to flank), no weapon variety, OHK headshots (with automatics no less!), slow player movement... 95% of CS:GO footage I've seen is just some guy camping an angle then spraying at people's heads when they come into view for easy kills (this clip is a typical example).
When you compare this to games like TF2 and Quake that actually have very high skill ceilings it's difficult to see why CS:GO has such a huge following. I guess the appeal is that comp matches follow essentially the same format and employ the same techniques as pub games, so it's easier for viewers to understand.
