Trying to create actual racing content for Horizon 3. I would like some assistance please!

I love the way that Horizon 3 lets you race. You can get touched without sending you into a crazy wreck, you can rub against other racers assuming you don't just drive through them. Overall, the racing in this series is just incredible if you're racing the right people. I don't think there is enough content showing just how fun this game is. The racing is on-par with Motorsport if you're in the right lobby.

For anybody that helps, I will do my best to reward your efforts. Whether it's fine-tuning a car of your choice or a shoutout in the video, using your paint-scheme for exposure or whatever else we can come up with. I really am interested in getting a thorough response so that I can create some great content.

I'm a decent racer and I want to save and edit clips showing fun races that I have. I have a lot of good ideas to incorporate and make the content exciting to watch. I just don't know how to go about this.

I currently have my xbox live clip section full, so I'm not able to save clips there any longer. I am going to delete all of the Horizon 2 clips this weekend that always used to "Autosave" along with everything else so I'll have that space to use. I also have a 64gb flash drive if that could help too.

Once I have that cleared out, I assume that I can just save clips there. I also can get an external hard drive if that would make it easier for me to ultimately edit clips.

So, what do I need in order to save clips and edit them to post here?

  1. Best way to save game clips so that I can edit them (assuming this has to be edited from a computer). Is the best way just to set the recording time to ~5 minutes so that I'm guaranteed to not lose any part of the race? Or is there a better way to get this done?

  2. I have an older Acer 8940G laptop specs that I should be able to use, assuming I could get the software.

  3. What kind of software could I use to edit clips (either cut sections out where there isn't much fun, or speed it up in certain sections if it shows me running somebody down for the pass).

  4. Anything else that you think I would need to know.

I apologize if this is the wrong spot for this post, but I will be able to put together some pretty cool clips just based on the racing I've experienced so far. There is also probably a step that I'm leaving out that I'm just not aware of.

Let me know if you can assist me. Thank you!
