So i have a 1070 and an i36100. But i think my obsession to have 60+fps at the highest detail settings has almost ruined my gaming experience. ( i3 is obviously an INTENSE bottleneck and i cant even hold 60+ fps WITH A 1070 @1080P IN GAMES LIKE BF1) even 1 stutter under 60fps and i feel it, immediately ticks me off. I consistently find myself not even caring about the story... or appreciating the fact im not playing minecraft at the lowest settings at 15 fps average like i used to on AN OLD TINY acer aspire netbook. I think I've lost sight of what it means to be a gamer at least when im playing pc and its honestly frightening. Like even now, i can hop on xbox 360, load up some cod 4 (2007) mw2(2009) and have fun. Even at mid/low settings 720p but at a solid 60fps admittedly. Even though i do find my self noticing aliasing and lownquality textures more often. Still doesnt bother me much as im HAVING FUN!!! Anyone else felt like this before? How did you overcome it and come to enjoy games for what they are again?
