With lot of rumors going on the nintendo switch
Two people (Direct Feed Games and Emily Rogers) who have been right and spot on so far, suggest it uses a custom Pascal based Tegra
I discuss some information And Arrive at a probable conclusion

The recent nvidia tegra parker

A single tegra parker has 2 Denver ARM CPUs , 4 Cortex A57 CPUs and 256 Pascal CUDA cores. FP32 Performance of 0.75 Gigaflops

The CPU architecture is optimized for gaming and automotive applications

The expected TDP of a single Tegra Chip is around 10-15W maximum

The drive PX2 module has two tegra x2 chips and 2 pascal based MXM graphic cards (8 TFLOPS FP32 performance i.e GTX 1070 performance or greater)
Tegra CPU vs AMD jaguar CPU(Xbox one and PS4)
Tegra 4 used ARM A15 (x4)(A57 is more or less a 64bit A15) and here is a geekbench comparision of 4xA15 and 4xJaguar(a4-5000)

The A15 is significantly faster at similar clocks, So it is safe to assume the A57 can out perform jaguar cores clock to clock. And NVIDIA says their denver2 cores are more powerful than A57
*Thus if we can get a clock of around 2Ghz, The CPU power of the Tegra Parker (6 core) is easily greater s than PS4/Xbox one(they are octa core , 4x2 cluster) But if we use two tegra x2 chips like in Drive PX2, we have 12 cores on the tegra based module (6x2 cluster) *
GPU power of tegra parker

Standalone the GPU has a rated performance of 0.75 TFLOPS (FP32), 1.5TFLOPS(FP 16). With dual SoC this will be 1.5 TFLOPS(FP32) and 3 TFLOPS(FP16)

PS4 has a GPU power of 1.84 TFLOPS and XBOX one 1.4 TFLOPS (FP32)

This means in case of Dual cluster chip i.e 2 tegra parker chips we can get performance between Xbox One and PS4 (regular editions)

If we consider a single chip they fall far behind both PS4 and Xbox One, Which is likely not to be case, as they can not afford to fall that behind base models, leave alone Pro and Scorpio.
The Third possibility/Addition

They could squeeze in a 1050 or 1050 ti into the the dock

The 1050 and 1050ti MXM versions could be placed in the Dock, adding more compute capability to the platform. These have a rated TFLOPS of 1.8 and 2.1 respectively (This is similar to the drive px in terms of MXM card usage)
Summary
The possible specs look like the following

The tablet consists of dual tegra x2 chips with max TDP of 30W (2x15W), may consume lesser power due to 16nm or 14nm process technologies Rated maximum FP32 TFLOPS of 1.5 in GPU and likely beating the the xbox and ps4 in CPU performance.

The dock may have an additional 1050 or 1050 ti give an additional 1.8 to 2.1 TFLOPS of performance.

While in the dock mode, they can target 1080p 60fps while in tablet mode they can target (1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps)
All the above is what I consider the best case, given the form factor and price range
