my argument with a console peasant at school today.

• console peasant: who here plays GTA V?

• me: i do.

• console peasant: do you have a PS4?

• me: no, i play on my custom built PC.

• console peasant: wow, you suck.

• me: and why is that?

• console peasant: because consoles are more powerful than PC's. we have more games! why do you even have a stupid PC anyways?

• me: consoles will never be more powerful than a PC. consoles use dumbed down laptop hardware. and i have a PC because i want to get the best value out of my money.

• console peasant: ugh, you're just like a nintendo fanboy, no one likes them.

• me: at least the wii U runs at 1080p at 60 FPS. nintendo has a 60 FPS standard on their games. something that xbox/PS4 doesn't have.

• console peasant: the human eye can't see above 30 FPS, you're invalid.

• at this point, i wanted to throw him out a window.

• me: go watch 60 FPS vs 30 FPS comparisons on youtube, you'll see the difference.

• console peasant: NOPE. you can't see above 30 FPS.

• console peasant: and PC sucks anyways, you have to upgrade like, every 4 years!

• me: do you want the PS4 pro?

• console peasant: yes, why?

• me: when did you buy your PS4?

• console peasant: 2014.

• me: see, look at you. you're upgrading to a newer, shitty console after 2 years.

• console peasant: BUT THE PS4 PRO WILL RUN AT 4K!

• me: PC has been able to do that for a long time.

• console peasant: THAT'S IT. i'm not gonna waste time fighting with a stupid scrub like you. i'm leaving.

• me: ok, enjoy your new PS4 pro, 720p upscaled to 4K, locked at 24 FPS.
